About The Role

We're looking for an experienced EMEA Group Marketing Manager – Interventional Oncology & Embolization to lead the strategic direction, growth, and performance of the Thera Sphere® franchise across EMEA.

This international leadership role has end‑to‑end accountability for the Thera Sphere business, including franchise strategy, demand planning, lifecycle management, market development, and commercial execution.

The successful candidate will work closely with Country organizations, Global Divisional Marketing, and cross‑functional stakeholders to drive sustainable growth, enhance clinical adoption, and maximize customer value.

The role also plays a critical part in identifying new market and technology opportunities, influencing senior leadership, and building a high‑performing international marketing organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Franchise Strategy & Business Leadership
  • Define and execute the long‑term strategic vision for the Thera Sphere franchise across EMEA.
  • Develop annual operating plans and long‑range strategic plans in partnership with Country organizations and Global Divisional Marketing.
  • Own franchise performance, including demand generation, pricing and positioning strategy, lifecycle management, and portfolio prioritization.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews and Strategic Map reviews with Country teams.
  • Own the EMEA demand plan and provide business input into the SI & OP process, including allocation decisions during periods of supply constraint.
  • Identify and lead new market, indication, and technology expansion opportunities.
  • Market Development & Strategic Growth
  • Lead comprehensive market assessments, including physician interviews, literature reviews, advisory boards, customer insights, and competitive analysis.
  • Evaluate business opportunities and provide strategic recommendations to International and Global leadership teams.
  • Develop and implement market entry and expansion strategies for approved growth initiatives.
  • Partner with Marketing Science and Analytics teams to support data‑driven decision making.
  • Commercial Excellence & Portfolio Development
  • Drive adoption of portfolio selling frameworks and customer engagement models across EMEA.
  • Support KOL engagement strategies to strengthen clinical advocacy and market development.
  • Partner with Country organizations to ensure successful execution of commercial and marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor business performance and implement corrective actions where necessary to achieve growth objectives.
  • Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop an international team of marketing leaders and managers.
  • Establish clear objectives, performance expectations, and development plans.
  • Build and retain high‑performing marketing talent.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and strategic thinking.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Sales, Medical Affairs, Clinical, Regulatory, Health Economics, Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and Global Marketing teams.
  • Influence Country leadership teams on strategic priorities, resource allocation, and execution excellence.
  • Drive alignment across geographies and functions to maximize business performance.
  • Quality & Compliance
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient safety, product quality, and ethical business practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable quality system requirements, policies, and procedures.
  • Promote a work environment that supports Quality, EHS, and Energy standards.
  • What Are We Looking For In You
  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MSc, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Full professional proficiency in English is required; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Significant experience in international marketing, product management, or strategic business leadership within the medical device, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or related industry.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex product portfolios and driving business growth across multiple countries.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems, reimbursement environments, and market access dynamics.
  • Proven success leading cross‑functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders in a matrix organization.
  • Experience in oncology, interventional radiology, embolization, or related therapeutic areas is highly desirable.
