Purpose
Boston Scientific is committed to developing leadership in high quality education programs for both employees and medical professionals. The role of the Urology Training and Education program manager will focus on developing and delivering training programs for health care professionals and the BSC sales team to support the new dynamic in Urology. This role will be dedicated to Prosthetic, Continence and Neuromodulation franchises management using a set of capabilities such as our EMEA network of Institute for Advancing Science, our EDUCARE platform, our Center of Education “COE” network in compliance with European and local rules and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- 60% Event management / 40% Digital Education.
- Create, lead, deliver and monitor EMEA Prosthetic, continence and neuromodulation training programs for HCP.
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum for HCP to support the division strategic priorities.
- Identify training needs and design learning pathway to provide effective Education to target HCPs.
- Develop training plan including: learning objectives, target audience, training tools, effectiveness measurement and roll out plan.
- Set live course and webinar calendar for each franchise's training programs.
- Establish an effective tracking and recording process of programs to enable key decision and improvements.
- Create and maintain an EMEA pool of faculty HCP to support the programs.
- Organize the network of experts and establish forum to collect input and ensure long term consistency and effectiveness of our programs.
- Ensure strong connection with global clinical Science to leverage existing Education materials and tools.
- Strong collaboration with training coordinator to ensure high standard logistics execution and post event tracking.
- Partner with countries to align local and EMEA training initiatives within EMEA.
- Establish collaboration forum with countries to ensure alignment of all programs with EMEA Franchises strategy.
- Work in collaboration with local country and sales team, EMEA marketing and HCP groups to ensure appropriate targeting for local and EMEA programs.
- Drive programs innovation and improvement.
- Manage training program communication and processes across EMEA.
Commercial Learning and Development
- Design progressive training pathways that develop individuals from beginner to expert level in Boston Scientific products and therapies.
- Develop blended learning solutions that build awareness, understanding, application, and advanced skills.
- Collaborate with Commercial learning and development manager, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and other stakeholders to create content, certifications, and sales enablement tools.
- Plan and manage training calendars to meet business demand and update new hire programs as needed.
- Work cross-functionally with EMEA Marketing and functional teams to maintain relevant, competitive, and up-to-date training content, and support key projects and product initiatives.
- Design and implement the digital content as part of the HCP and sales functions learning pathway for the Prosthetic, Continence and Neuromodulation.
- Use the clinical expertise outside and inside the team to build content.
- Collaborate proactively with the digital content specialist to understand digital support available.
- Work on a yearly digital editing calendar to plan resources and provide content for the main franchise campaigns.
- Work on the communication of our Education offering through in collaboration with the multi-Channel communication team.
Quality
- Ensures awareness and compliance with applicable standard operating procedures to meet, comply and champion all quality and regulatory commitments of Boston Scientific.
- As interface to Clients and Customer Service has direct responsibility to facilitate, share documents and process to identify, notify and ensure any complaint or problem are addressed, thereby demonstrating high commitment to Quality in all interactions and behaviours.
- Drive as needed to support and facilitate any field corrective action related to his/her scope.
- Ensures that all products and advertisement have been through the appropriate approval processes, prior to sharing or publishing.

- External: Physicians, Clinical and Hospital Staff, and Government/Administrative Officials, Digital suppliers, services providers hotel, travel agent.
Who are we looking for
- Fluent English language knowledge, other European language is a plus.
- BSC Process knowledge: compliance and contracting, IRF, Approve process is a plus.
- System knowledge: LMS, Educare, Engage, Magelan, My buy.
- Ability to work within an international environment.
- Medical Equipment and or Capital Equipment past experience is necessary.
- Relationship skills demonstrated through team building and close customer contacts.
- Management skills ability to manage a team and to coordinate resources outside the team.

Position preferably based at one of BSC main office HUB’s with remote or Hybrid work scheme 30% to 60% travel required. This position can be located (hybrid) in one of our offices in London, Milan, Madrid, Dusseldorf, Paris or Warsaw.
