Role Purpose
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Clinical Sales Representative (CSR) to join our Urology team in Scotland. This is a developmental role, designed to provide full immersion into the medical device industry, with a clear progression pathway into a Territory Manager position in the coming years.
Location: Edinburgh / East Scotland (with national travel across Scotland)
Business Unit: Urology
Reports to: Territory Manager, Scotland
The CSR will work closely with the Territory Manager, supporting a broad portfolio including:
- Core Urology consumables for kidney stone management
- Laser technologies
- Visualisation solutions such as LithoVue and LithoVue Elite (next-generation flexible ureteroscopes with integrated pressure sensors)
- Prostate health
The position will be customer-facing and involve significant time in hospitals and clinics across Scotland, supporting physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical case support, product training, and education to customers.
- Support the evaluation and adoption of new technologies across Scotland.
- Assist the Territory Manager in achieving commercial objectives, including driving revenue growth and supporting strategic sales plans.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clinicians, nurses, and hospital staff.
- Deliver excellent clinical and technical support during product procedures and evaluations.
- Act as a key resource for product expertise, ensuring safe and effective use of Boston Scientific technologies.
- Gather market insights and feedback to support business strategy.
- Represent Boston Scientific’s commitment to Advancing Science for Life through innovation and customer engagement.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree-level education in a science, healthcare, or business discipline preferred.
- Previous clinical, theatre, or healthcare sales exposure desirable but not essential.
- Strong interest in developing a career in medical devices sales and clinical support.
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders in a healthcare environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Scotland.
- Based ideally near Edinburgh / East Scotland.
