Location: Cheshire

Salary: Up to £39,459 p/a (plus £4,250 car allowance)

Working hours: 37 hours per week (full‑time, permanent)

About the role

We are currently working with an education provider in the Cheshire area who are looking for an Automotive Vocational Assessor (Trailers/Heavy Vehicle) to join their team. The position is a permanent full‑time role and will involve assessing the vocational skills of a group of 40 automotive apprentices at a single site in Cheshire. Apprentices will be learning heavy vehicle manufacturing and maintenance with additional engineering aspects, and will work on trailers – thus the ideal candidate will have knowledge covering this area.

Responsibilities

  • Assess the vocational skills of 40 automotive apprentices

Qualifications

  • A level 3 Automotive qualification (or equivalent apprenticeship)
  • Heavy vehicle/trailer maintenance experience
  • Prior experience in education, teaching or assessing
