We are working with an education provider in the Birmingham area who are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Trainer with a Maintenance skillset to join their engineering training team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The job role would consist of you delivering workshop-based training to Mechanical Maintenance Engineering learners (up to level 3) at the provider's dedicated engineering training centre in Birmingham.

The training provider is offering a starting salary of between £36,000 to £38,000 per annum for this position, which would also include a contributory pension, a health plan (including dental and optical contributions), and 34 days holiday per year (including Bank Holidays). You would also get to finish early (1pm) on Fridays.

To be eligible for the position, you MUST have:

  • A level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification
  • Hands-on mechanical maintenance experience
  • Over 6 years of post-apprenticeship industry experience

Please note that the education provider would put you through (and pay for) your teaching qualification if you do not have one already.
