We are currently working with an education provider in the West Yorkshire area who are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Lecturer to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. The position would consist of 35 hours of work per week, and would involve delivering both workshop and classroom-based training to Mechanical Engineering learners (at level 1/2/3).
The starting salary would be up to £39,118 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience), and you would also get a Teacher's Pension (with employer contributions of 28.68%) in addition to a holiday allocation of 47 days (plus 8 days for Bank Holidays).
Qualifications:- A Mechanical Engineering qualification (at level 3 or above)
- Industrial experience of hands-on Mechanical Engineering
- Good theoretical engineering knowledge
- A passion for passing on your engineering skills
While the education provider are ideally looking for someone who has a teaching qualification, they would be more than happy to fully fund the right candidate through a teaching qualification on the job if they don't already have one.
