We are working with an education provider in the Cheshire area who are looking for an Automotive Vocational Assessor to join their team. The position is a permanent full-time role, comprising 37 hours per week. The assessor will review the vocational skills of a group of 40 automotive apprentices at a single site in Cheshire. Apprentices will learn heavy-vehicle manufacturing and maintenance with additional engineering aspects, including trailers – candidates should have knowledge covering this area.

Responsibilities

  • Assess the vocational skills of 40 automotive apprentices.
  • Plan and manage your own diary of assessments.

Qualifications

  • A Level 3 Automotive qualification.
  • Heavy vehicle maintenance experience.
  • Prior experience in education, teaching or assessing.

Applicants do not need an Assessor award to apply; the training provider will support you on the job.
