Part-time and Full-time Opportunities
Boston Rose is on the lookout for enthusiastic and hands-on Technicians to join a well-equipped Electrical and Electronic Engineering team in an FE College. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting both staff and students by getting equipment ready for lessons, helping demonstrate how equipment and machines work, and making sure everything runs smoothly in their purpose-built educational workshop.
You’ll also be involved in supervising students during practical sessions, making sure they follow health and safety guidelines and maintain good workshop habits. You’ll see students through their electrical qualifications, helping to make sure they leave with an excellent understanding of the practical electrical engineering and electronics environment, equipping them for the industry or further studying.
What you’ll need to apply:
- Level 3 qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Relevant industry or workshop experience
- Confidence working with 16–19-year-olds
