Boston Rose are working with a leading training provider to recruit a Bus & Coach Tutor for their training academy in West London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced PSV or Bus & Coach Technician/Engineer looking to move into education, or an existing trainer seeking a permanent role with a well-established specialist provider.
You will be delivering both practical and classroom-based training to apprentices, helping develop the next generation of commercial vehicle technicians while supporting learners throughout their apprenticeship journey.
The role involves:
- Delivering practical and theory-based training to Bus & Coach apprentices
- Supporting learners to develop their technical knowledge, practical skills and professional behaviours
- Assessing learner progress against apprenticeship standards and awarding body requirements
- Maintaining training records and programme documentation
- Contributing to the development of training materials, schemes of work and lesson plans
- Creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment that supports learner success
What our client is looking for:
- Strong industry experience as a Heavy Vehicle or Bus & Coach Technician
- Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, Bus & Coach Engineering, or a related subject
- Good communication and organisational skills
- A passion for developing others and sharing industry knowledge
Desirable:
- Experience delivering training, coaching or mentoring apprentices or colleagues
- Knowledge of high-voltage vehicle systems, electrical systems and ADAS technology
- Teaching or training qualifications
