Gastroenterologist – St Elizabeth\’s Medical Center Location: Brighton, MA Time Type: Full time Posted: 3 Days Ago Job Requisition ID: 38476 Department of Medicine The Division of Gastroenterology at St Elizabeth\’s Medical Center, Boston, MA, is seeking to recruit a board–eligible/board–certified gastroenterologist to join a team of 3 physicians and 2 advanced practitioners, providing high–quality, patient–centered care at a tertiary care hospital. The candidate will join an established hospital–based gastroenterology group and will develop a significant focused practice that includes inpatient, outpatient, and procedural gastroenterology. The candidate should possess excellent clinical and communication skills and have a strong commitment to collaborating with other specialties to provide superior care. The candidate is also expected to teach medical students, medical residents, and gastroenterology fellows. Candidates should be BE/BC in Gastroenterology, able to obtain a Massachusetts medical license, and meet hospital credentialing requirements. Proficiency in ERCP is a plus, but not essential. St. Elizabeth\’s Medical Center features a state–of–the–art Endoscopy Unit to perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including ERCP, EUS, endoluminal stenting, Barrett\’s endotherapy, and other advanced endoscopic procedures, alongside a medical and surgical intensive care unit and excellent sub–specialty care support. St. Elizabeth\’s Medical Center is located in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston, near some of Boston\’s major universities. The hospital is a member of the Boston Medical Center Health System and serves a diverse patient population from the Boston area and beyond.
