Our client, a leading provider of affordable housing, is seeking a Senior Development Finance Analyst. This is a key finance business partnering role, providing commercial insight, robust reporting and governance across a portfolio of mixed tenure development schemes. The successful candidate will act as the main finance contact for regional Development teams, supporting both private sale and affordable housing programmes and ensuring strong financial control and informed decision making.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as finance business partner assigned regions
  • Be the first point of contact for all development finance matters
  • Produce timely and accurate management reporting for your scheme portfolio
  • Represent Finance at monthly scheme progress meetings
  • Support investment appraisals, financial modelling and commercial analysis for new acquisitions
  • Conduct financial due diligence and contribute to investment papers
  • Assess financial and commercial risks, including sensitivity and scenario analysis
  • Monitor finance, tax and control risks across schemes
  • Ensure governance and financial regulations are applied across the development programme
  • Provide cross regional support where required

Key requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant or equivalent
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capabilities
