The successful candidate will be CTA qualified with experience within complex industries (charity or housing background ideal but not essential).

Day to day duties:

  1. Responsible for reporting and compliance on a variety of taxes across the Group
  2. Managing the Group’s tax strategy
  3. Providing advice to stakeholders
  4. Managing the tax relationship with HMRC
  5. Identifying areas of risk and working to mitigate these
  6. Ensuring appropriate controls are in place
  7. Identifying and implementing opportunities for tax savings
  8. Managing a small team

Essential:

  1. CTA qualified
  2. Excellent communication skills
  3. Proven track record of liaising with Committee/Board level
