Are you an Accounts Receivable Specialist with experience of overseeing and managing billing, receipting, and financial reconciliation processes?
Boston Hale is currently recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a higher education institution on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial records and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a small team
- Manage daily billing, receipting, and bank reconciliations
- Ensure accurate student exemptions, scholarships, and fee waivers are recorded
- Maintain accounts receivable records and oversee refund processes
- Reconcile control accounts and resolve discrepancies to maintain data integrity
- Administer loan files and manage Western Union payment services
- Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures
