Location: Port of Tyne, South Shields (office-based)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Start Date: Immediate

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and organised Administrator to join our team based at the Port of Tyne, supporting operations on a key GE site. This is a fast‑paced, hands‑on role where you will play a critical part in keeping vessel operations running smoothly, ensuring accurate documentation and supporting day‑to‑day coordination across multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Vessel manifest management: Produce and maintain manifests across multiple vessels. Liaise with contractors to gather required information (VISSIM). Coordinate and submit finalised lists to vessels on time.
  • Operational coordination: Act as a central point of contact for contractor information. Chase outstanding data and ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • General administration: Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the site team. Maintain organised records and documentation.
  • Document control: Ensure documents are up to date, accurate, and properly stored. Support compliance requirements across site operations.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a busy environment.
  • Confident communicator, comfortable chasing information from stakeholders.
  • Previous administration or document control experience preferred.
  • Experience working in a site‑based or operational environment is advantageous.
