Make mobilisation seamless. Keep people safe. Deliver something that matters. Boston Energy is looking for a PPE & Travel Administrator to support offshore wind operations on the Dogger Bank Wind Farm Project, working in partnership with GE Vernova. This is a practical, fast‑moving role at the heart of offshore mobilisation. You’ll be the person who makes sure technicians are fully equipped, fully compliant, and exactly where they need to be, when they need to be there. When things run smoothly offshore, it’s because roles like this are done well. You’ll suit this role if you enjoy organisation, pace, and problem‑solving, and you get real satisfaction from knowing that your attention to detail keeps people safe and operations on track.
What you’ll be doing:
- A core part of the role is managing PPE and workforce readiness. You’ll take ownership of issuing, tracking, and maintaining PPE for technicians and site teams, ensuring everything meets strict project and HSE standards.
- You’ll keep accurate records and audit trails, coordinate ordering and suppliers, arrange sizing and replacements, and make sure no one mobilises without the correct equipment in place.
- Alongside this, you’ll manage travel and mobilisation logistics. That means booking and coordinating flights, accommodation and transfers, planning mobilisation and demobilisation schedules, and working closely with technicians, site teams and third‑party providers.
- You’ll be trusted to handle last‑minute changes calmly, keep trackers up to date, and make sure operational teams always know where people are and what’s happening.
- The role also involves admin and compliance coordination. You’ll maintain accurate records across internal systems, support onboarding by making sure PPE and travel readiness is in place, produce reports on PPE usage and travel activity, and support audits and documentation requests.
- You’ll act as a key point of contact between Boston Energy, GE Vernova and Dogger Bank, working closely with project managers and logistics teams and contributing ideas to improve mobilisation processes over time.
What we’re looking for:
- You’ll likely have experience in an administration, logistics or coordination role (offshore wind/energy/construction desirable).
- Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.
- Confidence managing travel bookings and logistics coordination.
- The ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Clear communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong Microsoft skills (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
You’ll be someone who is:
- Proactive, structured and dependable.
- Calm under pressure and good at solving problems quickly.
- Comfortable working to tight deadlines.
- Committed to safety and compliance in everything you do.
