What You'll Do
- The Global Product Senior Specialist is a key role in the Career Development function.
- You will collaborate with HR squad members to ensure user stories and artifacts meet the needs of the Product Owner and key stakeholders.
- You will use your deep knowledge of staffing applications and business process to support the Product Owner with backlog prioritization.
- You will work closely with the Product Owner and key stakeholders to ensure the solution meets business needs and acceptance criteria.
- You will work with a team of internal & external technical resources, as well as a cross-functional team including broader HR, Finance and IT to define enhancements.
- You will provide high quality application support to meet the business needs of the entire BCG organization.
- You will participate in hands-on functional enhancements activities and provide guidance and oversight of functional/technical activities to successfully execute projects related to BCG’s HR applications.
- You will assist the Change Manager in the creation of release supporting documents, drive office hours calls with the users, and all other change management activities.
YOU'RE GOOD AT:
- Working in a global environment with stakeholders, team members, and customers located throughout the world.
- Supporting requests from functional users and external partners, resolving/troubleshooting demands from our user-base.
- Working closely with UI/UX team in the planning and design of application changes and coordinating on delivery and deployment processes.
- Collaborating across a diverse group of stakeholders to ensure that stories, requirements, and designs are captured accurately.
- Understanding the overall business vision for work being requested to help the Product Owner prioritize work of highest value in each sprint.
- Working with a multicultural distributed agile team located in different time zones.
- Being intellectually curious and enjoying learning new skills and capabilities.
- Attention to detail, strong problem solving and critical thinking.
- Key responsibilities in continuous improvements, including data analysis, testing and functional support of BCG's global staffing applications.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree, with 7+ years’ relevant experience, including a proven track record in influencing large cross-functional teams and solving complex problems for business functions with significant business impact.
- Experience in the HR domain highly preferred but not required, specifically with a performance system.
- Hands-on experience with requirements gathering/user story design and story mapping.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with users and provide a high level of customer service.
- Prior experience in conducting live training sessions and troubleshooting with users and stakeholders.
- Ability to detect and resolve incidents in a timely manner with high customer satisfaction.
Who You'll Work With
This role is part of the Talent Management Product Team within the HR Product Portfolio and works closely with the Career Development Teams, Product Owner and Change Manager. You will also work closely with other functional teams including broader HR and Finance to understand data flow and integrations.
