What You\’ll Do
BCG will be offering an elective for exceptional medical students to gain a unique insight into healthcare management. As future leaders of healthcare, you will have the opportunity to develop your business skills, and be exposed to a range of topics within medicine. Opportunities will range from gaining a further understanding of the structures and mechanics of the NHS, to leveraging the potential of healthcare technologies to redefine the provision of healthcare, and addressing the latest challenges in the pharmaceutical industry. BCG partners with leaders in industry to tackle their most important challenges and capture their greatest opportunities to shape a brighter, more sustainable future.

Please note this medical elective does not form part of the BCG recruitment process for permanent employees.

What You\’ll Bring
* You are in your *penultimate or final year* of medical school
* You are applying as part of your medical school formal elective programme
* You are able to spend *7 weeks* with BCG during the spring of 2026, starting on the *13th April 2026*
* You have achieved a grade of 2:1 or higher in any B.Sc. / BA you have completed
* You demonstrate evidence of high level success in extracurricular activities
* You can exhibit a genuine interest / experience in healthcare management
