About the Partner Services Group
The Partner Services Group (PSG) is a global, high-impact team within BCG's Finance function. We are responsible for designing, developing, and executing world-class evaluation, development, compensation, and equity programs for BCG's ~2,000 Managing Directors and Partners (MDPs) - the firm's senior owners and leaders. Operating at the intersection of finance, strategy, and talent, PSG is known for its precision, innovation, and trusted communication. Our work is personally significant to BCG's most senior leadership and is central to the firm's mission of unlocking the potential of those who advance the world.
The Role
As a Project Senior Manager within Partner Services Group, you will serve as the central operational and strategic partner to the Head of the MDP Compensation & Equity Framework and Programs, helping lead the global MDP Compensation & Equity Taskforce over the next year to support a firmwide MDP Compensation and Equity Taskforce. You will be the connective tissue across a complex, multi-stakeholder initiative - managing the key stakeholder engagement calendar, communications, and workflow of a senior PSG leader while simultaneously driving execution on high-stakes deliverables. You will also lead planning, logistics, and organization workshops and offsite events for a team of senior executives. This role demands someone who is as comfortable anticipating executive needs as they are independently managing a project plan or drafting a leadership communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the day-to-day program manager for the MDP Compensation & Equity Taskforce, maintaining plans, milestones, dependencies, and governance processes.
- Manage a complex calendar of taskforce activities, balancing competing priorities and optimizing engagement across senior stakeholders and global time zones.
- Coordinate and book travel, logistics, and accommodation; ensure the taskforce is prepared and well-briefed for all engagements.
- Act as gatekeeper and first point of contact, managing correspondence with discretion and sound judgment.
- Anticipate needs proactively - managing competing priorities, flagging conflicts early, and ensuring the taskforce's time is protected and well-spent.
- Identify risks and issues early; proactively recommend solutions and escalate where appropriate to maintain momentum.
- Prepare briefing materials, agendas, pre-reads, leadership updates, presentations, and status reports for senior PSG leadership and MDP audiences.
- Handle highly sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
- Exercise sound independent judgment in the absence of direct instruction, acting always in line with firm standards.
What You'll Bring
Experience & Background
- 8+ years of experience in executive support, program management, project management, or Chief of Staff environments.
- Prior experience in professional services, financial services, consulting, HR is a strong plus.
- Proven track record of supporting multiple workstreams and senior stakeholders simultaneously without losing quality or composure.
Skills & Capabilities
- Exceptional organizational skills - you manage complexity instinctively and know how to build structure from ambiguity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to draft clear, polished output for senior and executive audiences.
- High emotional intelligence and collaborative mindset.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel is required; familiarity with project management tools is an advantage.
