What You'll Do

As the Global L&D Sr. Manager, you will lead strategic operations and delivery excellence across L&D globally. You will define and evolve how learning is delivered at scale, ensuring consistent, high-quality execution across programs, regions, and modalities (in-person, virtual, and hybrid). You will lead a Strategic Operations capability, driving governance, standardization, and continuous improvement across delivery, while partnering closely with operations and delivery teams from the Global L&D Shared Services to ensure seamless execution. You will operate as a senior leader through influence, aligning stakeholders across functions and geographies, and acting as a key bridge between strategy and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Capability Building: Lead and develop a high-performing Strategic Operations team, ensuring clear priorities, strong capability, and consistent delivery standards.
  • Global Planning & Delivery Governance: Own global calendar planning, pipeline forecasting, PMO coordination, and delivery readiness across programs, regions, and modalities.
  • Delivery Excellence: Ensure high-quality execution of in-person, virtual, and hybrid learning experiences, including logistics, staffing, production standards, participant experience, escalation management, and on-site leadership for key programs.
  • Vendor, Sourcing & Financial Oversight: Govern sourcing, vendor management, contracting, venues, budgets, invoicing, compliance, and cost-efficiency across global learning delivery.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with Faculty, Shared Services, Finance, Technology, business stakeholders, and regional teams to ensure aligned, efficient, and accountable execution.
  • Process, Tools & Knowledge Governance: Drive standardization of processes, playbooks, SOPs, templates, SharePoint, LMS, virtual platforms, and other operational tools.
  • Insights & Continuous Improvement: Use learner feedback, stakeholder input, engagement metrics, and operational KPIs to identify improvements and embed lessons into future delivery.
  • Transformation & Innovation: Lead operational excellence initiatives, including simplification, automation, GenAI, audit follow-up, and scalable best practice adoption.

  • 9+ years of experience in learning operations, delivery, event management, or similar, ideally in a global, fast-paced organization.
  • Strong expertise in operational strategy, delivery governance, and process optimization.
  • Proven experience in team leadership and capability building.
  • Experience working with shared services models and global delivery teams.
  • Strong project and program management skills, with the ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and deliver results.
  • Excellent stakeholder management abilities across multiple regions and seniority levels.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Tableau) to inform decisions and track operational success.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with a focus on influencing stakeholders.
  • Experience with learning and collaboration tools (e.g., SABA, Zoom, Teams, SharePoint).
  • A collaborative mindset with a solutions-oriented approach and ability to work autonomously.
  • Experience with emerging technologies (AI, automation) is a plus.

Who You'll Work With

A passionate and dedicated Learning & Development team, who are currently spread across the US, Europe, Costa Rica and India. You will be part of the Operations team that is in charge of the overall orchestration of the delivery of core curriculum Learning Journeys and upskilling efforts. You will work, in close contact with the Global L&D Service Center which is part of the team and handling the entire participant management. You will establish strong relationships across L&D and our broader people functions to successfully learn, educate and influence others.
