What You'll Do The Cross Border Working (CBW) Senior Specialist is a key operational and advisory role within BCG's LAB Mobility escalate quality concerns to the CBW Manager where required.
Track work permit initiations and ongoing work permit compliance obligations, resolving technical queries or escalating appropriately.
Cross Border Case Management Support the CBW Manager, with the identification of cases requiring compliance assessment and further review.
Review case team and individual activity risk analysis and prepare comprehensive risk summaries (covering tax and immigration guidance) for alignment with the CBW Manager for delivery to case team leadership.
Reporting and traveller data analysis to identify areas of risk and mitigating actions: Escalating to local immigration where potential work permits are required.
Coordinating social security certificate requirements with payroll and finance.
Work with the tax team to identify and manage tax secondment coordination including stakeholder communications.
Act as a LAB Mobility trusted to handle sensitive matters with discretion.
Adaptability — able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
What You'll Bring Undergraduate degree required.
English language essential; Dutch and/or French preferred.
Relevant experience in cross border compliance, ideally within a professional services or multinational environment — covering areas such as Posted Worker obligations, immigration, tax, or social security.
Experience managing or overseeing a compliance process end-to-end, including quality oversight of third parties (vendors or offshore teams).
A track record of building trusted relationships across all levels of an organisation, with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style.
Proficiency in Excel; experience with collaboration tools (e. g.
Slack, Egnyte, Trello) preferred.
