We’re looking for a Career Services Manager to join BCG’s London office on a fixed-term contract (maternity cover). In this role, you’ll provide career coaching and job search support to BCG employees as they explore their next steps, whether inside or outside the firm. You’ll help colleagues reflect on their career goals, identify new opportunities, and prepare for transitions, while also building connections with external employers and recruiters. The role combines 1-1 coaching, project management, and relationship-building across BCG’s London, Amsterdam, and Brussels (L-A-B) offices.
- Primary responsibilities include:
- Career Coaching Guide UK-based BCG employees to explore their strengths, skills, and ambitions. Help translate self-reflection into practical career strategies or alternative career paths.
- Job Matching & Job Search Support Use your knowledge of people’s career interests and the job market to connect them with suitable opportunities. Ensure that everyone leaving BCG has access to a wide range of career options. Support practical job search needs, such as interview preparation, CV and cover letter feedback, and offer negotiation. Provide market insights and benchmarking to help staff make informed decisions. Use BCG’s systems and tools to track data and share reports with the Career Services leadership team.
- Collaboration & Projects Conduct exit interviews and analyze trends to share insights with leadership. Partner with colleagues across the EMESA region to strengthen capabilities and share best practices. Drive initiatives in line with 3-years plan, that expand and embed Career Services across L-A-B.
- External Networking Build and maintain strong relationships with large employers and recruiters in the UK and wider region. Stay up to date with the hiring landscape and leverage external partnerships to support staff transitions.
What You’ll Bring
- 8+ years of experience in Coaching, Staffing, Recruiting, or HR (professional services experience preferred).
- Master’s degree or equivalent, completed by a coaching qualification.
- Strong knowledge of the UK labour market.
- Track record of managing projects and engaging senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, integrity, and the ability to manage sensitive information.
- Fluency in English (Dutch or French is a plus).
