What You'll Do
The BCG Henderson Institute (BHI) is seeking an experienced Global Marketing Manager to join its team for an 11-month maternity cover. BHI is BCG’s internal think tank, focused on developing rigorous, forward-looking research and thought leadership. In this role, you will lead BHI’s external partnerships and visibility strategy, managing key external relationships and overseeing the Seat at the Table (SATT) and partnerships portfolio. Your goal will be to expand the Institute’s global network and increase visibility for its experts across influential platforms. As a core member of BHI’s global marketing team, you will also drive multi-channel campaigns to position BHI and its thought leaders effectively—both within BCG and in the broader public sphere. In addition, you will support events hosted by the Institute.
- Oversee BHI’s participation in global platforms and strategic partnerships, including External Partnerships and the Seat at the Table (SATT) portfolio.
- Cultivate relationships with key external partners (e.g., media, event organizers, academic and research institutions) to enhance BHI’s reputation and reach.
- Formulate and implement our global partnership strategy in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Identify and pursue high-impact opportunities for BHI experts to publish, speak, and engage on global platforms (e.g., Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan Management Review, Davos, Fortune).
- Collaborate with BHI content teams to align messaging with BCG’s broader priorities and capabilities.
- Serve as a connector between BHI experts and relevant stakeholders—both internally and externally—to identify and promote impactful content.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in content delivery, amplification, and audience engagement, including KPI setup and measurement.
- Design and implement integrated marketing campaigns to promote BHI’s research and thought leadership across digital, social, and event channels.
What You'll Bring
- 8–10 years of relevant B2B marketing experience, ideally within professional services, consulting, or a think tank environment.
- Proven ability to develop and execute global marketing strategies, with a focus on positioning thought leadership content.
- Strong track record of managing external partnerships, including media outlets, global organizations, and high-profile event platforms.
- Experience organizing events for senior- and executive-level audiences.
- Experience designing and executing impactful marketing campaigns for book launches is an advantage.
- Data-driven and analytical mindset, with the ability to measure campaign performance and use insights to optimize outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, particularly when engaging senior leaders in collaborative, cross-functional settings.
- Comfort operating in a global, matrixed organization and partnering across geographically dispersed teams.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong intellectual curiosity and comfort engaging with complex content, with the ability to distill and communicate it clearly to diverse audiences.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality execution.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Familiarity with marketing tools and platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, Marketo, and Tableau is a plus.
- Quick learner, open to experimenting with new tools and approaches.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
