Requirements
- Multiple years of experience in a global IT organization in a professional services organization
- Proven record of working with and collaborating with vendors and 3rd parties to achieve event technical outcomes
- Strong events project management experience across the full lifecycle
- Deep understanding of the BCG technical environment, including laptop imaging and providing customer/attendee support
- Strong interest in the market landscape for in-person and hybrid events
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to actively listen
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to drive prioritization across multiple current events
- Ability to build a strong network to pull in resources from across IT and vendors to support events
- Experience with audio and video technologies for meeting-specific applications
- Solid overall IT background with proven experience in technology and methodologies
- Formal IT qualifications would be an advantage
- Understanding of supporting technologies for events such as networks, VPN, SSIDs, and wireless profiles
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with meeting owners to support their meeting goals through technology deployment
- Provide advice and guidance on key features to support the meeting agenda
- Support event execution to enable a flawless attendee and presenter experience
- Collaborate with venues, source hardware, and AV support from established partners
- Support event execution as the key IT partner on-site
- Contribute to developing and maturing event execution operations within the METS AV/IT team
- Work in a fast-paced environment, managing and building partnerships with 3rd party vendors
- Focus on customer orientation towards internal clients
- Utilize data for decision making regarding technology deployment and support
