What You\’ll Do
This 6-month temporary role focuses on measuring and articulating the real-world planetary impact and business value of BCG’s Climate & Sustainability work. You’ll join the C&S Practice Area’s Management & Operations team to shape how we measure, express, and inspire action across environmental, reputational, and commercial dimensions. You’ll work with a wide spectrum of internal and external stakeholders across four dimensions:
- Quantify the impact and value of Climate & Sustainability work, tracking metrics from carbon to water, waste, biodiversity, and beyond, across 1000+ C&S projects annually.
- Act as a strategic thought partner to translate sustainability work into credible impact expressions aligned with global standards.
- Collaborate with BCG’s Social Impact team and subject matter experts to ensure rigor and alignment.
- Develop and curate inspiring impact stories for internal and external audiences, working with Marketing and References to produce client impact videos and other outputs.
- Develop BCG IP on when impact and value align with business outcomes, identifying patterns in C&S case data and shaping thought leadership assets (publications, talks, reports).
- Drive end-to-end processes with analytical rigor and strategic insight.
- Engage Global leadership and functions to shape sustainability strategy and contribute to the Annual Sustainability Report, ensuring responsible messaging and avoiding greenwashing risk.
What You\’ll Bring

- Excellent storytelling and communication skills to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to lead initiatives independently in fast-paced, matrixed, and virtual environments.
- Outstanding project and stakeholder management, with the ability to work across leadership levels and functions.
- Experience in impact measurement or sustainability is an asset, but drive, agility, and leadership are most important.
