What You’ll Do

Please note this is a 9-12 month contract

This is a dynamic role with the objective of providing excellent HR support to primarily the BCG London office. In addition, you will support the broader LAB team (London, Amsterdam, Brussels) and work closely with our colleagues in Delhi. As Senior HR Specialist, you will be supporting the implementation of BCG’s People strategy in our London office and our broader LAB system. You will collaborate with multiple teams across BCG, both within London and across the wider LAB system, acting as a trusted advisor and first point of contact for General HR queries. Key responsibilities are outlined below, but this may change based on your experience and will not be exhaustive.

  • You will provide guidance and support to employees and managers on a wide range of people-related matters and employment topics throughout the entire employee lifecycle.
  • You’ll ensure that all HR processes run efficiently, meet the highest standards, and comply fully with legal requirements.
  • You will support the HR team in managing sickness and family leave cases—taking ownership of cases and escalating when necessary.
  • Through your proactive and people-focused approach, you will play a key role in maintaining a positive, compliant, and supportive employee environment.
  • You will be responsible for managing HR lifecycle changes in close collaboration with our colleagues in Delhi.
  • You will act as the first point of escalation between HR Specialists and HR Managers, ensuring smooth coordination and effective communication.
  • You’ll also support HR Managers, Talent Business Partners (for both PA and BST), Career Development Advisors (CDAs), BST, and consulting staff by driving processes forward and ensuring consistency across all HR activities.
  • Additionally, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of both local and LAB-wide HR policies, keeping them accurate, relevant, and up to date. Together with our Pathways team, you will help coordinate secondments and educational leaves, ensuring that these transitions are well supported and seamlessly managed.

In short, whether managing sick leave cases or enhancing the broader employee experience, your focus will be on supporting our people in the best possible way!

What does your team look like?
