What You\’ll Do

As a Director in the ERM team, you’ll lead global initiatives to assess and manage strategic and emerging risks. You’ll work directly with senior leaders across the firm to inform decision-making, evolve BCG’s risk capabilities and strengthen data-driven scenario planning. This is a high-impact role that combines strategic thinking, data-driven analysis, and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities include

  • Leading enterprise-wide strategic risk assessments and scenario planning
  • Identifying and evaluating emerging and long-term risks
  • Enhancing BCG’s strategic risk management framework and tools
  • Advising senior leaders on risk exposure, implications, and mitigation
  • Partnering with business and functional leaders to deliver tailored risk reviews
  • Monitoring the implementation of mitigation strategies aligned with business goals
  • Presenting findings to senior stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members

What You\’ll Bring

  • 10–15+ years of experience in enterprise risk, or related fields, preferably in global, matrixed organizations
  • Strong knowledge of ERM frameworks (e.g., COSO, ISO 31000) and risk principles
  • Demonstrated ability to lead strategic risk assessments and scenario analysis
  • Proficiency in data analysis and experience with GRC or risk analytics tools preferred
  • Graduate degree in Risk, Business, Finance, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CRMA, CIA, CPA) are a plus
  • Experience in professional services or partner-led environments is beneficial
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed
