What You’ll Do
We are looking for an innovative and collaborative leader to drive recruitment for Data Scientists, Software/Data Engineers, Product experts, Growth Architects, Experience Designers, Analysts, and Solution Delivery experts across BCG X’s global teams, which now total over 3,000 employees. The position is based in Boston, New York, Paris, or London (preferred), with travel of approximately 10 % and a target of ~600 FTE in 2025.
Career Highlights
As the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition, you will design the Talent Acquisition organization for BCG X, manage a team of 50‑60 recruiting professionals, and work closely with regional and global leadership to align talent strategies with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Own strategic talent sourcing and attraction, including evolving the EVP and messaging for key talent segments.
- Develop sourcing strategies for key talent pools and scarce skill areas identified by the business.
- Lead talent planning, pipelining and global delivery, partnering with regional leadership and product teams.
- Provide talent market intelligence, compensation benchmarks and competitor insights to stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into target profiles and manage hiring metrics such as time‑to‑fill, source mix, conversion ratio, diversity pipeline and quality of hire.
- Drive the expansion and acceleration of near‑shore and off‑shore engineering teams and coordinate recruiting efforts across cohorts.
- Digitally enable the Talent Acquisition function, embracing recruiting analytics and cutting‑edge sourcing tools.
- Integrate with BCG Talent Acquisition, build a cohesive operating model, strengthen networks, and participate in key leadership forums.
- Lead the innovation and transformation agenda for Talent Acquisition for BCG X and build out recruiting marketing and branding globally.
Essential Qualifications
- 15 + years of experience in Talent Acquisition or 10 + years in consulting/HR within the Tech and Analytics/AI space.
- Deep understanding of Data Scientist, Product, Design or Engineering profiles and the competitive market landscape.
- Experience with sourcing, talent processes, assessment and metrics.
- Demonstrated ability to manage resources and workload in a complex, fast‑paced environment.
- Strong leadership, influencing and communication skills.
- Experience advising business leaders on strategic talent acquisition and leading matrixed, cross‑functional teams.
Reporting and Collaboration
You will report to Stacey Beard, BCG X Global People Functions Senior Director, and work with the BCG X Leadership Team, functional leadership in People, Marketing, Talent Management, and global Recruiting Leadership. You will build a strong network across BCG’s global recruiting community.
