What You'll Do
CEO Advisory is a global, CEO-sponsored initiative led by BCG’s CEO, Christoph Schweizer, and former CEO, Rich Lesser, designed to strengthen and accelerate relationships with BCG’s CEO and C-suite clients. As the firm’s only formal platform for engaging this audience, it combines proprietary research, a proven program format, and deep expertise to support senior executives through critical leadership moments. Acting as a trusted performance partner, CEO Advisory has served as a sounding board for hundreds of CEOs and C-suite leaders globally.
Global Director, CEO Advisory (Temporary Backfill, July 2026 – March 2027)
In this role, you will lead the strategic vision, design, and execution of BCG’s global CEO Events agenda—shaping how the firm engages its most senior clients. A core pillar of CEO Advisory, these high-touch, small-group forums foster peer learning and build trusted communities around the most pressing topics facing leaders. You will work closely with global and regional CEO Advisory leadership—Judith Wallenstein (Global), Christine Barton (North America), Matthias Kruehler (EMESA), and Alpesh Shah (APAC)—as well as event hosts, including Christoph Schweizer and Rich Lesser, and senior partners worldwide to ensure consistent quality, strong strategic alignment, and measurable commercial impact. The program is supported by a global network of former CEOs, senior advisors, and BCG leaders, alongside a dedicated Global BST team that drives operations and coordination across regions. Regional case teams further support Managing Directors and Partners (MDPs) in delivering high-impact CEO engagements. In this role, you will provide senior oversight and governance to sustain excellence, protect brand equity, and align CEO engagement with BCG’s top-client strategy.
SCOPE AND IMPACT
- Own the global strategy and delivery for all SATT Events (Retreats, Forums, and Virtual Series, 40+ per year).
- Shape the CEO events portfolio vision with CEO Advisory Sr. Director and Global Leader—defining audience targets, quality benchmarks, and experience principles across all regions.
- Partner with Global Leadership and MDPs to align event priorities with BCG’s top-client and commercial goals.
- Lead a global team (three regional leads and dotted-line contributors), ensuring capability development and scalable operations.
- Represent CEO Advisory in firmwide marketing, client development, and external relations discussions—connecting the CEO agenda to BCG’s overall growth priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence- Drive rigorous project management across CEO Advisory events, aligning cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and ensuring flawless delivery at scale.
- Oversee end-to-end planning and execution of complex, high-stakes CEO engagements.
- Partner directly with MDPs, CCOs, and senior firm leaders on event participation, client curation, and follow-up.
- Navigate complex stakeholder dynamics with diplomacy and influence—ensuring the CEO experience consistently meets white-glove standards.
- Build trust and collaboration across global, regional, and cross-functional teams.
- Set the global agenda and engagement model for CEO convenings, ensuring alignment with firm strategy and market priorities.
- Drive innovation in event experience curation and thought leadership integration.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to global and regional CEO Advisory leadership on program direction, partnerships, and growth.
- Lead and inspire a global events team, empowering regional leads and fostering collaboration across geographies.
- Develop team through coaching, feedback, and professional growth opportunities.
- Model calm, solutions-oriented leadership in high-pressure environments.
What You’ll Bring
Background- 8+ years of experience in client services, executive-level events, or professional services management.
- Proven track record designing and delivering high-stakes C-suite/CEO-focused programs.
- Deep understanding of client development and relationship management.
- Exceptional discretion, judgment, and executive presence; trusted by senior partners and firm leaders.
- Executive stakeholder management – Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders, including CEOs, C-suite clients, and BCG MDPs.
- Project management & operational excellence – Strong end-to-end program management across complex, global initiatives, ensuring alignment, coordination, and on-time delivery.

In the US, we have a compensation transparency approach. Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, retirement contribution, and a market-leading benefits package described below. The base salary range for this role begins at $145,000 in our lowest cost US region and goes up to $185,700 in our highest cost US region. Your recruiting contact can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. This is an estimated range; specific base salaries within the range depend on various factors such as experience and skill set. It is not common for new BCG employees to be hired at the high-end of the salary range. BCG regularly reviews its ranges to ensure market competitiveness. In addition to your base salary, your total compensation will include a bonus of up to 30% and a generous retirement contribution that starts at 5% and moves to 10% after 2 years.
