The Senior Recruiter manages a high-volume and complex workload of open requisitions, primarily supporting professional, supervisory, and management-level positions. This role serves as a strategic partner to Hiring Managers, HR Consultants, and Compensation teams, driving innovative recruitment strategies that align with both short- and long-term business objectives. The Senior Recruiter plays a critical role in building strong talent pipelines, enhancing recruitment processes, and ensuring a high-quality, compliant, and efficient hiring experience. This position also provides mentorship to junior team members and contributes to broader Talent Acquisition initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for a diverse portfolio of professional, supervisory, and management-level roles.
- Facilitate strategic intake and recruiting strategy meetings with Hiring Managers to develop customized hiring plans.
- Design and execute innovative sourcing strategies to build and sustain robust talent pipelines.
- Provide expert, objective assessments of candidates and effectively manage candidate flow throughout the hiring process.
- Act as a trusted advisor to Hiring Managers, coaching on best practices in screening, interviewing, and selection while ensuring compliance with diversity commitments and regulatory requirements.
- Partner closely with HR Business Partners and Compensation teams to develop competitive, equitable, and effective hiring strategies and offers.
- Mentor and support junior Recruiters and recruiting staff, promoting best practices and continuous development.
- Contribute to succession planning efforts and proactively develop recruitment strategies to address future workforce needs.
- Evaluate and continuously improve recruitment processes, tools, and assessment methods; recommend and implement enhancements.
- Lead or support training sessions, including manager orientations and recruitment best practice workshops.
- Deliver a high-touch candidate experience by communicating clearly, accurately, and engagingly about opportunities and the organization.
- Ensure full compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations, including OFCCP, EEO, and Affiant Action requirements.
- Oversee job posting strategies, including internal mobility, external job boards, and agency partnerships.
- Maintain accurate, compliant, and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system.
- Lead offer negotiations, balancing organizational priorities with candidate expectations.
- Build and sustain strong partnerships with Hiring Managers to maximize recruiting effectiveness and outcomes.
- Represent the organization at networking events and external forums to enhance market presence and talent engagement.
- Lead or serve as a subject matter expert on Talent Acquisition projects with medium to large scope and impact.
Proven ability to develop and execute strategic recruiting plans in a complex, fast-paced environment. Strong expertise in sourcing strategies, talent pipeline development, and market intelligence. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines. Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruitment technologies.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
