We’re looking for a proactive and organised Planning Technical Support Officer to join our Development Management team at Boston Borough Council. This is an exciting time to come on board as our service evolves, with improvements to our planning systems, better alignment of processes across the Partnership, and a strong focus on modern, efficient ways of working.

You’ll support the full lifecycle of planning applications, from receipt to decision. This includes validating submissions, managing consultations and publicity, issuing Decision Notices, maintaining accurate records, and supporting customers, colleagues, and councillors. You’ll also play an important role in helping us develop and improve our planning software and digital processes as we continue to modernise.

This position is a shared role within the South and East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership (SELCP) and forms part of the S113 agreement between the participating partnership Councils in accordance with the Memorandum of Agreement 1st October 2021.
