The Opportunity We are seeking a Senior Chemist to join our dynamic R&D team. This role is ideal for a technically skilled and safety-conscious individual with a background in chemistry, polymer science, or chemical engineering. You’ll contribute to cutting-edge research, support product development, and help drive continuous improvement in lab safety and operations. Key Responsibilities Champion a culture of safety by leading lab safety initiatives and training new team members. Conduct experiments, analyze data, and communicate findings clearly within project teams. Apply Design of Experiments (DoE) and other problem-solving methodologies to support innovation. Operate and maintain lab equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and waste disposal protocols. Collaborate cross-functionally to support internal customer needs and project goals. Document research activities in lab notebooks and progress reports; contribute to IP protection. Represent Bostik professionally in external interactions and industry forums. What You Bring BS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or related field with 2 years of industrial experience, or MS in a related field. Strong analytical and communication skills, with a practical understanding of lab processes and equipment. Demonstrated commitment to ethical conduct and safety in the workplace. Ability to work independently under guidance and contribute effectively to team-based projects. Familiarity with analytical techniques and product evaluation methods.
