Overview
Bostik Middleton is hiring Production Operator for 3rd shift. We are offering a $1,500 Sign-on Bonus. Health benefits starting on DAY 1 of your employment. Night Shift hours: Sunday – Thursday 11:15 PM to 7:30 AM. Must be willing to work overtime as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Safe operation of the manufacturing operation and compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Day-to-day completion of assigned tasks.
- Practice Safe work habits in accordance with OSHA, EPA guidelines, and Bostik-specific EHS expectations.
- Follow written instructions and standard operating procedures to manufacture quality products.
- Assist in updating documentation as required.
- Work collaboratively with fellow operators to ensure a quality product is produced.
- Perform preventive maintenance functions as required.
- Assist as needed in other areas in Manufacturing.
- Perform in-process laboratory testing to satisfy intermediate and finished product requirements.
- Responsible for accurate batch sheet administration and retained sample collection.
- Follow proper procedures for the handling, storage and transfer of hazardous materials.
- Operate all equipment within your respective department.
- Conduct cycle counts, as required.
- Operate forklift and material handling equipment.
- Fill out maintenance Work Orders in the event of foreseen mechanical problems.
- Responsible for incident reporting and communications.

- A fast-paced, high-pressure environment where you are involved in a wide variety of functions and activities.
- Participation within the Plant, within oneβs department, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Use of computer software, both PC-based and enterprise systems, combined with frequent interpersonal communication.

Qualifications / Experience Required
- High school diploma or higher education preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing operations preferred.
- Commitment to Operator-driven in-plant lab testing, Autonomous & Preventive maintenance, Problem solving on the shop floor, 5S, etc.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Experienced in working within a team environment.
- Adaptable to change and can lead change.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
