Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Sales to lead our Insulating Glass (IG) Sealants business across EMEA. This role will drive sales growth, market expansion, and customer engagement, while supporting global business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute 3-year sales and market plans, including segmentation, go-to-market strategies, and regional growth initiatives.
- Own pricing strategy and ensure achievement of sales and margin targets.
- Lead UK sales operations and directly manage the UK Sales team.
- Business Development
- Expand market presence through existing and new product offerings.
- Support global regions (ROW) in leveraging IG product lines.
- Drive brand visibility through industry events, seminars, and marketing communications.
- Customer & Account Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and distributors.
- Ensure high levels of customer service and resolve issues efficiently.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Marketing, Technical, Supply Chain, R&D) to align on customer needs and product development.
- Operational Excellence
- Represent the IG business in monthly S&OP meetings.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and reporting systems.
- Ensure compliance with Arkema’s business ethics and code of conduct.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years in a commercial sales or market development role, ideally in export markets.
- Background in adhesives, sealants, or related technical industries preferred.
- Degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Engineering, or related field; marketing qualifications a plus.
- Strong project management and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities.
