The product is a cloud native high volume/ high transactional platform designed to streamline their client's daily operations. The software centralises client orders and bookings, automates payments, and synchronises in real-time across major business-related aggregated websites and apps.
THE ROLE
We are seeking a detail-oriented Product Owner to join our growing team. In this role, you will combine creative thinking with technical understanding to craft intuitive solutions for our platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design solutions for enhancements to the customer-facing applications, both web and mobile.
- In conjunction with the Head of Development and Head of Product, drive the full product development lifecycle from inception, development, go live, and post go live support.
- Monitor key product metrics and KPIs as input into the product design process.
- Engage with key customers, collate their feedback and iterate the product strategy and roadmap accordingly.
- Interpret needs, objectives, and direction from multiple sources of input.
- Listen to users, brainstorm, always have an eye on the competitor, be inclusive and leverage internal talent.
- Conduct Business reviews and UAT.
- Triage, investigate and prioritise fixes and maintenance.
- Conduct research into competitor solutions.
ABOUT YOU
Required Skills and Experience:
- You must be eligible to work in the UK.
- A university degree is required (Bachelor minimum).
- 3-4 years experience as Product Owner / Business Analyst on a product involving significant data flows or mappings.
- Good knowledge of agile software development processes, especially in a B2B context.
- Critical thinking and the ability to create complete solutions from high level roadmaps.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex ideas into simple concepts.
- Passionate and keen to continually innovate and move the product forwards.
- Detail-oriented.
- Understanding how something works is not enough for you, you also want to understand why.
- Knowledge of SQL, databases and good data structures is a plus.
- Knowledge of UI mock-up tools is a plus.
- Self-motivated and able to work under high level direction.
