Demand and supply planning business analyst – Outside IR35 Contract – ASAP start
Our leading global client is seeking a specialist Demand and supply planning business analyst to join them on an outside IR35, 6-12 month initial contract position. The right candidate will need experience in implementing demand forecasting and supply planning technology – think Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, Logility etc. – and are looking for someone who ideally has more experience in the demand forecasting and planning world over the supply planning world.
They are looking for someone to join the project team to help and in many cases lead on/carry out the following (non exhaustive) activities and deliverables:
- understanding our as is\’ processes in the demand and supply planning world
- design (with the chosen technology and implementation partner) our to be\’ new processes
- help us make the right decisions on configuration
- test the solutions end to end
- run workshops with our business users to help bring them on the change journey
- bring your external experience in delivering this type of change to help us shape our plans, manage our risks and highlight any gotchas\’ that we are blind to
- get a handle on the required data to run our processes, working with our data lead to ensure we are aware of the data that is needed to run the processes we are designing
- hold the technology and implementation partners to account for credible and holistic solutions
- manage the requirements and ensure we are delivering against both the functional and technical ones
- working with our project management team and
- work with our key project partners/stakeholders to help them understand the detail in our process design that enables their teams to deliver the outcomes we are targeting
- manage the benefits realisation
- work with our other BAs to ensure a balanced supply and demand planning process
- make recommendations for design of processes
- Understand and be involved in the technology tendering process, bringing your knowledge of such technology to enhance our selection process
- Understand our partner (external) data, how this is used within business processes as well as how we can use it/what constraints we will have when designing our future processes
