We are experiencing rapid growth and are looking for an experienced consulting sales director to join our team for the next phase of our mission.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced, commercially driven Sales Director to help accelerate the next phase of growth at Boss Consulting.

This is a senior, hands-on role for a consultative sales leader who can build qualified pipeline, develop strategic accounts, shape early-stage demand and close high-value consulting opportunities with enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business development across enterprise IT consultancy, digital transformation, programme assurance and client-side advisory services.
  • Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline, targeting at least 2x annual revenue coverage.
  • Develop strategic account plans for priority organisations and build senior relationships across C-suite, transformation, technology, procurement and operational stakeholders.
  • Shape client conversations around delivery risk, governance, stakeholder alignment, benefits realisation and measurable transformation outcomes.
  • Lead complex sales cycles from early engagement through qualification, proposal, negotiation and close.
  • Work closely with consulting, delivery, marketing and leadership teams to shape propositions, bids, sales plays and market-facing campaigns.
  • Protect margin, manage commercial risk and ensure opportunities are structured for successful and profitable delivery.

What We’re Looking For...

  • Proven success in senior sales, business development or commercial leadership within IT consultancy, digital transformation, systems integration, SAP, MS Dynamics, Oracle, Salesforce or professional services.
  • Strong track record of winning net new business, growing strategic accounts and exceeding revenue targets in complex B2B environments.
  • Strong market awareness and client relationships, able to hit the ground running and add value from Day-1.
  • Experience selling high-value consulting or transformation programmes involving multiple stakeholders and longer sales cycles.
  • Credibility engaging CIOs, CTOs, CFOs, CPOs, transformation directors, procurement leaders and senior operational sponsors.
  • Strong commercial judgement across pricing, margin, bid strategy, negotiation, risk allocation and contract shaping.
  • Confident storyteller who can translate complex transformation challenges into clear business value.
  • Disciplined approach to CRM, forecasting, account planning and pipeline management.
