Job Description:
Make your mark as Saturation Diving Supervisor at Boskalis Subsea Services! On behalf of Ultimate Marine Solutions Limited, Boskalis Subsea Services is looking for a Saturation Diving Supervisor to join our Boskalis diving fleet. You will be responsible for the planning and execution of the diving operation including the responsibility for the safety and health of the Dive Team.
Your responsibilities as a Saturation Diving Supervisor:
- Ensure diving operations are carried on from a suitable and safe location on the surface and in compliance with any permit to work system;
- In conjunction with the C&T and Crewing departments, provide additional verification checks that all personnel on the Dive team are qualified and competent to perform tasks assigned;
- Assess and provide fair, transparent and consistent feedback/coaching on the Competence & Performance levels of the Dive Team against pre-defined Competence Criteria (IMCA Diving Competence Framework) and Company Performance and Behavioural standards (Offshore Performance Appraisals);
- Obtain clarification from the Divers of any physical or medical condition which would be detrimental to their health and safety in the water or under hyperbaric conditions;
- Assign the duties of all members of the dive team and personally direct them throughout the duration of their shift;
- Communicate with the technicians regarding the planned diving work and the equipment requirement.
Qualifications:
You can make your mark as a Saturation Diving Supervisor (DSV) if you have:
- OPITO approved BOSIET with CA-EBS, MIST (for UKCS only) and OGUK Medical.
- Minimum 2 years DSV Supervisory experience.
- IMCA Logbook – last 12 months work experience verification.
- Demonstrated competence at IMCA C003 D04 grading - IMCA recognized Bell (Sat) Diving Qualification and verification of IMCA Divers Logbook minimum of 400 lockout hours.
- Certificate of Competence - IMCA Company Member Competence Certificate or IMCA Competence Portfolio.
- IMCA Diving Supervisor CPD.
- Bell Diving Supervisor Qualification - IMCA Recognized Bell Diving Supervisor Qualification (newly Qualified Supervisors must evidence a minimum of 50 bell runs over minimum period of 90 days working under direct supervision as a “Trainee” Bell Diving Supervisor).
- Air Diving Supervisor Qualification - IMCA Recognized Qualification with a minimum of 10 Offshore Commercial Air Dives demonstrated.
