Job Description

Make your mark as Planner for Boskalis Subsea Services located in Aberdeen. You will be accountable for ensuring that all departmental and project planning requirements are fully met and executed to the highest standard. The role demands a consistent focus on customer requirements, the maintenance of strict tendering discipline, and full adherence to established planning processes and procedures. In addition, the postholder will ensure that the planning function is correctly utilised across the organisation and that interfaces between departments are managed efficiently to support effective operational performance.

Your responsibilities as Planner:

  • Responsible for providing a complete planning service, identifying the key activities and actions required to achieve the project milestones and Project Offshore Schedule.
  • To initiate and co-ordinate the planning process for the Department and Projects.
  • Preparation of Tender and Project schedules inc. any tidal and weather allowances.
  • Compilation of documentation for timings of projects Planned v’s Actual analysis.
  • Development of tender schedules to assist the Tendering Department.
  • Monitoring and reporting of progress on project schedules.
  • Preparation and maintenance of the Project Master Schedule including updating with offshore durations from vessel DPR’s.
  • Schedule analysis and forecasting of schedule trends, and identification of possible remedial actions where required.

Qualifications

You can make your mark as Planner if you have:

  • 3 years’ experience as Planner in a Subsea/Oil and Gas Capacity.
  • HND in Planning (or similar).
  • Working knowledge of P6 and MSP.
