Are you passionate about moving into the field of Quality Assurance / Quality Control and have the ambition and drive to follow a structured development program to achieve this? At the business unit Subsea Cables we are looking for a Junior QA/QC Engineer to take on this challenge. In this role you will be supported by Experienced Quality Professionals but will be expected to be proactive and able to work at times independently. You will support projects in the business unit in the development, maintenance and compliance of the integrated Quality Management System (Way of Working/WoW), in line with internal, client, legal and certification requirements. This goes hand in hand with continuous improvement of our standards and processes in order to achieve operational excellence. As a Junior QA/QC Engineer you will be required to travel abroad to visit projects and sites.
Responsibilities
- Commitment to successfully completing the QA/QC Professional Development Program.
- Seek support from Experienced Quality Professionals during review and approval of completed tasks.
- Supporting completion of project and business unit QA/QC procedures, plans and instructions.
- Gain understanding of the tender and project quality documentations review.
- Support the delivery of the Internal and external quality systems audits.
- Coordination, participation and witnessing of inspection activities in compliance to Industry standards and Client requirements.
- Supported review of inspection documents, procedures, ITPs.
- Participate in NCR life cycle, including investigations, root cause analysis, corrective action and final closure.
Qualities & Experience
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
- At least 2 years experience in a Quality related function is preferred however consideration will be given to people with a technical or engineering background/education looking to transfer or begin within the field of quality.
- Understanding of ISO 9001 is preferable.
- Experience of electronic reporting/action tracking software.

Extra Information
Your team: You are part of the Business Unit Subsea Cables and you are part of the SHE-Q community within Offshore Energy Division. This community consists of approximately 10 people. Where you will work: You are based in our Papendrecht or Wynyard office depending on your current location. You can work partly at home and partly in the office.
Netherlands: You will be working from our Campus in Papendrecht. You will visit project sites abroad multiple times a year. UK: You will be working from our Office in Wynyard. You will visit project sites abroad multiple times a year.
This is a full-time position (37/40hrs a week). In consultation with your manager, 1 or 2 days working from home is open for discussion.
