Make your mark as a Rigger/Crane Operator for Boskalis Subsea Services, on behalf of Ultimate Marine Solutions Limited! The Rigger is responsible for the safe and efficient execution of all deck activities in particular those pertaining to rigging, lifting, banksman, welding, crane, slinging and ensuring compliance to regulatory and company requirements. The Rigger is responsible for ensuring that all operations carried out in support of diving operations are performed safely and in compliance with company procedures under the supervision of the Deck Foreman. On occasions when a Rigger is employed to undertake Welding tasks they are responsible for carrying out welding operations on deck in a safe and efficient manner.
Your responsibilities as a Rigger/Crane Operator:
- Ensure that all diving support activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures;
- Ensure that all deck activities are carried out safely and in compliance with legislative requirements inclusive of LOLER, PUWER and COSHH;
- Handle cargoes safely and loads within all operational parameters of the crane;
- Operate crane in weather and environmental conditions required;
- Correctly use crane operation instructions with the aid of radio equipment and give clear and correct instructions.
You can make your mark as a Rigger/Crane Operator if you have:
- OPITO approved BOSIET with CA-EBS, MIST (for UKCS only) and OEUK Medical.
- Minimum 2 years DSV or Oil and Gas Platform experience.
- OPITO approved Banksman and Slinger Competence Assessment/Reassessment.
- OPITO approved Rigger Competence Assessment/Reassessment.
- OPITO approved Offshore Crane Operator Stage 3 Competence Assessment/Reassessment.
