Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Chartered Building Surveyor based in Surrey, with opportunities for remote work. The role involves conducting building and condition surveys, managing contracts, executing feasibility studies, and addressing issues such as dilapidations. You will be expected to prepare reports, liaise with clients, and provide consultation on the preservation and maintenance of historic and traditional buildings.

Qualifications

  • MRICS - Chartered Building Surveyor. AssocRICS qualification also considered.
  • Proficiency in Building Surveying and Condition Surveys.
  • Experience in conducting Feasibility Studies and assessing project requirements and solutions.
  • Skills in Contract Management, including preparing, reviewing, and overseeing construction contracts.
  • Knowledge of Dilapidations and advising on property maintenance requirements.
  • A Chartered status accredited by RICS (or working towards achieving this).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Strong interest in or experience with historic and traditional buildings.
  • Proficiency with relevant software tools and report writing.
