Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Demand Planning Manager to lead a dispersed Supply Chain team focusing on our European and ANZ markets. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing demand planning strategies to ensure accurate forecasting, inventory management, and supply chain optimization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze sales data, market trends, and other relevant factors to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain demand forecasting models to ensure accurate predictions of future sales trends and patterns.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and optimize demand planning processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Operations to develop and implement demand planning strategies that align with business objectives.
- Lead the development and maintenance of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to ensure alignment across the organization.
- Manage the Demand Planning team, providing coaching, guidance, and support to team members to achieve their goals and objectives.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide regular reporting and analysis to senior leadership on demand planning performance metrics and business outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective demand planning strategies that drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
- Strong analytical skills with experience working with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams or leading projects.
- Experience with S&OP process and Microsoft Excel.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g. APICS) or Demand Planning (e.g. CPIM).
- Experience working in a fast-paced consumer technology company with multiple product lines.
- Knowledge of CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce), ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and demand planning tools (e.g. Kinaxis).
