As the sales leader for the European Luxury market, you’ll lead, mentor, and coach a team dedicated to achieving annual sales and profitability objectives while building the long-term value of the brands with consumers, dealers, distributors and the press.
Duties & Responsibilities- Develop and execute a 3-year business plan that yields 15% CAGR across the portfolio of group brands (McIntosh, Sonus faber, and Sumiko Phono Cartridges).
- Sales Management – set sales organization, policies, procedures, and metrics to maximize our diverse B2B customers (Regional Distributors, Specialty Retail Dealers, CE Retail Chains, Online Specialist).
- Ensure exceptional experience for partners and consumers – Continuously increase the customer satisfaction for our dealers and end-consumers in all interactions with our group brands.
- Support B2B customers with attentive service, exceptional support, and appropriate product availability.
- Collaborate with group marketing staff to define and execute the marketing plan to drive near-term sales and long-term brand building.
- Integrate Consumer Facing Advertising and PR, Consumer Facing Events, and B2B Trade Marketing Activities into a cohesive plan that drives sales and builds brand awareness and value.
- Financial Management – Work with the VP of Global Sales to develop a solid operational execution culture (plan, do, check, adjust). Create an annual P&L budget, product level forecasting, monitor performance to plan, and implement actions to close gaps as required.
- Provide weekly check ins and monthly reports as needed.
- Operations Management – define the optimal logistics infrastructure to maximize order fulfillment speed and accuracy while minimizing the total logistics costs (in-bound, warehousing, inventory, and outbound).
- Anticipate the needs of the market. Be ahead of the competition. Advise management on customer strategies, competitor actions, and growth opportunities.
- Monitor the competitive product trends and recommend product roadmaps for our brands.
- Work closely with brands on development, research and NPI.
- Be an ambassador for the Bose Luxury business unit. It implies good judgment, professional behavior, and the highest ethics commensurate with the sale of luxury products.
- Be an accessible servant leader (Player/Coach) by spending time in all markets (UK, France, BENELUX, Germany, Italy, etc.) 50% to 75% travel needed depending on business priorities and time of year.
- Strong understanding of Luxury market and culture; HIFI experience highly preferred.
- Ability to develop and execute a clear sales strategy aligned with corporate/divisional/regional goals, including market analysis and identifying new opportunities.
- Inspiring and motivating a sales team, providing clear direction, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Setting clear sales goals, tracking progress, and holding team members accountable for achieving targets.
- Strong ability to develop long-term relationships with customer C-suite, McIntosh Group, and Bose cross functional and executive leaders.
- Utilizing sales data to identify trends, make informed decisions, and optimize sales strategies.
- Ability to adjust sales strategies and approaches based on changing market conditions and customer needs.
- Proven track record for negotiating and profitably growing businesses.
