The Governing Body of St Catherine’s Catholic Primary School, Littlehampton is seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Deputy Headteacher. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and aspirational leader who is passionate about primary education, values teamwork, and believes every child deserves to thrive.

St Catherine’s Catholic Primary School is a vibrant community of faith and learning, where every member is encouraged to aspire to their very best. The successful candidate will play a key role in the leadership of the school, including responsibility for leading Religious Education and sharing responsibility for a class. For the right candidate, there is also the opportunity for this role to incorporate the position of SENDCo; in this case, the post would be non-class based.

  • An excellent primary classroom practitioner, who is able to develop, inspire and challenge staff.
  • Committed to build on existing relationships with parents, the Parish, Bosco CET, the Diocese, Local Authority and wider community whilst fostering new relationships.
  • Able to identify strengths and weaknesses to further develop the potential of pupils and staff.

The post will be subject to satisfactory references, pre-employment checks and Disclosure and Barring Service checks.
