Sacred Heart School are seeking to appoint an After School Club Play Worker for two days a week.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is confident and calm.
  • Enjoys working with children.
  • Is a good communicator.
  • A team player and enjoys the outdoors.

Purpose of the Role: All support staff are part of a whole school team. They are required to support the values and ethos of the school and school priorities. This will mean focusing on the needs of pupils, colleagues and parents/carers and being flexible in a busy pressurised environment.

Duties will include:

  • Supervising and encouraging playground and indoor activities.
  • Supervising children whilst eating.
  • Providing a simple snack for the children - to include preparation and clearing up.
  • First Aid and record keeping.
  • Following school policies relating to Safeguarding and Health and Safety.
