The Governors of St Mary’s Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint a 0.44 (0.4 plus PPA) class teacher from September 2026. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed teacher to work alongside our current EYFS leader:

  • Who will support and promote our Catholic ethos;
  • With high expectations of motivation, achievement and behaviour and a passion for nurturing young minds;
  • With a good understanding of how children learn and a strength in Early Years practice;
  • Who can demonstrate the ability to respond to pupils’ needs and interest in creating a child-led learning environment;
  • Who has the knowledge and skills to develop pupils’ early reading, writing and maths skills;
  • With a willingness to contribute to the wider aspects of school life;
  • Who can work collaboratively as part of a team in order to build on successes already achieved by the school.
