At our plant in Glenrothes, Scotland we design, develop and produce radial piston motors working in partnership with world renowned international OEM’s in industries such as material handling, construction and forestry machinery.

Job Description

  • Create and process both individual orders and complex scheduling agreements for our radial piston motors.
  • Review customer orders, ensuring they align with agreed parameters.
  • Confirm delivery dates and level demand across weeks, balancing internal and external capacity constraints to achieve efficiency.
  • Be the proactive voice for our customers! Track open orders and backlog, proactively communicating any delays or problems, and finding creative solutions to not just meet, but exceed their expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with our internal departments, ensuring orders are fulfilled on time and everyone knows the customer needs.
  • Coordinate preponements and postponements in close collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Liaise with our dispatch team to arrange special transports or even airfreight when time is of the essence.
  • Maintain and develop regular customer communications, establishing yourself as their trusted first point of contact and even handling first-level customer escalations.
  • Partner with customers to establish rolling forecasts and analyse order patterns, helping us verify forecast accuracy and anticipate future needs.
  • Create reports and regularly track key performance indicators, providing valuable data to support continuous improvements.
  • Actively support the continuous improvement of processes and procedures within the department, including identifying and implementing enhancements within SAP.
  • Maintain meticulous order by ensuring easy and complete access to all relevant data through appropriate archiving of files.

Qualifications

  • A strong understanding of order fulfilment processes and supply chain dynamics.
  • Proven experience working with an ERP system (preferably SAP), particularly in order processing.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to build rapport.
  • A customer‑centric approach, always putting the customer's needs first.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Proactive problem‑solving skills and a solution‑oriented mindset.

Additional Information
