About the role

We are excited to offer you the opportunity to join our Logistics department as a Graduate within the Logistics Spare Planning & Procurement team.

The Spares Planning and Procurement department is a busy, productive department, responsible for the availability of spares parts on the UK market. We support UK merchants and our internal Bosch after sales service engineers. Our daily goal is to be above the delivery on time target of 99.3% towards customer orders. We reach this goal by proactively solving any problems that may arise along the supply chain.

Responsibilities

  • Raising purchase orders and tracking deliveries, and coordinating daily with other Bosch sites and independent suppliers.
  • Planning spares production requirements onsite at Worcester to ensure availability of stock.
  • Supporting service engineers by handling stock inquiries and order replenishment spares to help achieve the ‘first time fix’ KPI for the service department, ensuring efficient customer outcomes for heating and hot water services.
  • Critically reviewing business and system processes and suggesting & implementing improvements.

Profile & Qualifications

Right To Work: please ensure you have valid Right To Work in the UK status for the duration of the contract term. This is a 2-year fixed term role.

Our ideal candidate must have:

  • Knowledge of Lean Management Systems, and able to apply the methods to spare planning or service support.
  • Good analytical skills & confidence working with large data sets and able to self‑learn applications to enable the task.
  • Strong attention to detail & a structured approach to tasks.
  • Good communication skills & the ability to work collaboratively.
  • A proactive can‑do attitude & willingness to learn.

Our ideal candidate should have:

  • Confidence in using all Microsoft Applications, especially Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerBi.
  • Enjoy a good mix of data analysis and business process understanding, willing to participate discussing outcome and have an analytical approach.
  • A degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Analytics towards Manufacturing.

Contract Duration: 2 years

Working Hours: 39 hours per week – standard working pattern of 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 – 16:00 Friday with a 1‑hour lunch break.
