Job Description
- Take ownership of technical purchasing projects, working closely with team members to ensure successful outcomes
- Generate and monitor requests for quotations.
- Engage in technical discussions with suppliers, preparing and conducting meetings while ensuring effective follow-up with the support of your colleagues.
- Assist in coordinating sampling processes with suppliers and technical departments, ensuring accurate maintenance of our IQS central systems
- Prepare sourcing decisions within a global procurement landscape
- Provide administrative support to the team, ensuring smooth operations
Qualifications
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain
- Has the ability to build effective and strong relationships with cross-functional colleagues, customers and suppliers
- Is proactive, tenacious, results driven
- Excellent communication skills, high level of self-motivation and commitment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Computer literate, with sound knowledge of Microsoft packages especially excel
