Job Description

  • Communicate with end-customer, service and internal stakeholders in case of any claim or quality notification.
  • Coordinate and handle internal and external customer claims within Birmingham Plant.
  • Ensure serial production quality assurance activities such as internal process release, part and process approval procedure, engineering changes, concession, product audit and lessons learned activities.
  • Lead external claims and internal quality management team, MRB-IDC and tollgate teams.
  • Take role in problem solving team and/or lead problem solving team in case of any customer complaint and/or internal quality problem.
  • Support manufacturing in handling of internal technical failures.
  • Support manufacturing for any quality related topics by participating in Q-Table meetings and performing Q-oriented process confirmation.
  • Take role as product quality responsible in project team of any projects such as relocation, insourcing, outsourcing, new product and others.
  • Perform process audit and follow up status of actions (as lead/co-process auditor).

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical & Materials Engineering or relevant engineering.
  • Experience in engineering, quality assurance and manufacturing processes.
  • Have knowledge of quality management system, quality assurance tools and methods such as measurement techniques, capability analysis of measurement systems, problem solving tools e.g. 8D, Ishikawa, 5 Why analysis and so on.
  • Leadership skills in team leading.
  • Be structured and systematic and good at collaboration, have good communication skills both in internal and external business environment.
  • Have a solid basis of technical knowledge in manufacturing and/or engineering.
  • Have ability to work as a part of an international team.

Additional Information

You will be required to evidence your right to work in the UK, as we are unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. International applicants would not be provided with a Skilled Worker visa for this role and will only be able to take up this role if they can demonstrate an alternative right to work in the UK.
